Welcome to Aukamm!
The administration and staff at Aukamm Elementary School wish to extend a warm welcome to students, parents, and the community. We are embarking upon another year of educational excellence through academic offerings and exciting extra-curricular programs for students. We will continue building upon our partnerships with parents and community organizations to unite our efforts to educate and care for our children. When parents go “down range”, Aukamm ES is supporting our children and bridging those difficulties and challenges that this adjustment can cause.  Rest assured that your children are in good hands and will receive the warm and caring treatment you would expect.
 

The DoDEA Strategic Plan was initiated in the year 2006 with a target date of 2011 selected to make significant gains in student assessment scores. We are well down this path and are seeing success in the school. The Community Strategic Plan brought about significant changes in how we perform tasks at the local level. We continually strive to increase our efforts to improve upon the quality of education and, therefore, we have strategies within the school that we find are improving our student's learning. Our school's test scores are a testament to our success.

 
Our school goals are: 1) All students will improve their problem-solving skills as applied across the curriculum, and 2) All students will improve their non-fiction writing skills across the curriculum.
 

One of our initiatives is parental/community involvement in the school as well as continued strong support of academic progress stressed in the home. Aukamm Elementary School is very interested in extending our stakeholders in the school. We implore our school community to work together with us so that we can offer our children the best educational offerings and that we keep our children challenged.

 

We implore your active involvement in all aspects of the School Improvement process so that we can all work toward improvement of student achievement. Working together, our students are assured success!
